Phalaborwa: Senior Spa Therapist (Manager on Duty)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Spa Therapist to join our team at Unspecified Hotel in Phalaborwa, Limpopo. As the Manager on Duty, you will be responsible for leading a small team of spa professionals and managing the day-to-day operations of the spa. You will also be expected to provide exceptional guest service, promote our products and services, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the spa’s daily operations, including scheduling, client communication, and inventory management
• Lead a team of spa professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed
• Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a 5-star experience for all clients
• Promote our products and services, upselling treatments and retail as necessary
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in the spa, adhering to CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / City & Guilds or similar recognized accreditation
• Perform basic admin duties, including reporting and client communication via email/whatsapp
• Manage bookings and oversee hotel operations as needed

Requirements

• Day Spa experience within a Hotel, Lodge, Cruise Ship or Resort or independent spa
• Prior employment in a bush, lodge or safari environment
• Confident all-rounder, however strong in Body Therapy as our primary service
• Holistic Wellness approach favourable
• Head Therapist / Assistant Spa Manager experience is preferred

Qualifications

• CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / City & Guilds or similar recognized accreditation

Salary & Benefits
