About the Role
A leading logistics company in Polokwane is seeking an experienced Technologist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining reports to measure fleet performance, communicating results to stakeholders, and collaborating with planners to implement tactical strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Building KPI and activity reports with the aim of measuring fleet performance and identifying areas of concern.
- Standardising, updating and where possible automating reports.
- Communicating and presenting reports.
- Ensuring the quality of reports from team members.
- Ad hoc and Dedicated fleet analysis: building fleet mix and streamlined reporting with an order management focus.
- Assisting in developing tactical implementation strategies to reach optimised use in close collaboration with the LLP planners.
- Analyzing fleet data, identifying and investigating any irregularities, and providing relevant information to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of practical experience in Industrial Engineering or Logistics.
- Working knowledge and competence using a computerised stock management system.
- MS Office Suite skills.
- Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
