About the Role

Join our esteemed spa team at MF Spa & Beauty Placements in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, as a Senior Spa Therapist (Manager on Duty). We are seeking an experienced and skilled therapist to lead our spa department while providing exceptional guest experiences. With a strong focus on holistic wellness and beautiful grooming standards, we require a confident leader who can manage a small team of spa professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage spa operations during trading hours and shifts, including flexible overtime on occasion based on hotel bookings.
• Oversee daily spa activities, including client communication, booking management, and reporting.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service in the spa area.
• Provide excellent guest experiences through personalized therapy sessions and product recommendations.
• Lead a small team of spa professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

• CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / City & Guilds or similar recognized accreditation.
• Assistant Spa Manager experience in Lodge, Hotel, or Cruise Ship Spa environment.
• Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back.
• Beautifully groomed and looking the part of a 5-star therapist.
• Computer literate – able to do oversee bookings, client communication (email/whatsapp etc) / reporting and any other basic admin duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Completed recognized accreditation in spa therapy.

Salary & Benefits

• R8,000 – R10,000 Basic Salary per month (based on experience desired).
• Commission (Product & Services rendered).
• Semi-furnished single accommodation with private en-suite bathroom (King Bed, Towels & linen, TV, Aircon, Mirror & dresser, mini fridge, microwave, cupboard).
