Our client is searching for a Electrical Systems Technician to join their team in Mpumalanga

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and lighting.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to modify or upgrade systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment status, and parts inventory.
• Support emergency repairs and participate in on-call rotations, as needed.
• Diagnose electrical issues using technical drawings, schematics, and testing equipment.
• Managing a team of Technicians.
• Complying with OHASA requirements.
• Budget Control.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified in Electrical Trade (must have), Wireman’s License (its an advantage, but not a necessity)
• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years experience related on electrical and project Engineering
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and safety standards

RECOMMENDED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALITIES

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good knowledge of MV and LV equipment
• Advanced PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley, Siemens S 5 & 7)
• Good Instrumentation Knowledge
• Decision Making Ability
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Self-Driven Computer literate.
• Decision Making Ability, Task Orientated
