We are looking for an Executive Principal to take the reins at a well-established independent school in Pietermaritzburg, leading both Primary and Secondary phases (Grade R 12).

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in strategy, compliance, and people management while remaining passionate about academic excellence.

What youll be doing:

• Leading and managing the full school environment (Primary & Secondary).

• Driving the strategic vision of the school and ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Managing academic staff performance, professional development, and stakeholder relationships.

• Overseeing budgets, finances, procurement, and assets.

• Ensuring compliance, safety, and policy implementation.

• Promoting a positive, disciplined, and student-centred culture.

What were looking for:

• A relevant Bachelors degree
• 5+ years senior management experience in education
• 10+ years teaching experience (preferably High School)
• Permanent SACE certificate and valid Police Clearance
• In-depth knowledge of CAPS & IEB curriculum, NPA, and NPPPPR
• Strong administrative, organisational, and leadership skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office) & excellent English communication
