About the Role

The Centre Manager Metropolitan Centre will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a major shopping centre in Polokwane. This role requires a highly organized and customer-focused individual with strong administrative skills to manage the centre’s activities, negotiate leases, handle tenant queries, and implement marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement planned maintenance program to ensure the upkeep of the property, including DB boards, outside lights, roofs, gutters, gardens, irrigation systems, toilets, taps, air conditioning units, and fire equipment.
• Manage all non-technical services, repairs, and maintenance on site in liaison with the Property Services Manager.
• Handle all tenant queries professionally and respond promptly to maintain a positive relationship with tenants.
• Lease sourcing, securing, and concluding leases for vacant positions with prior approval from the Property Manager and within set parameters.
• Negotiate lease renewals with tenants with prior approval from the Property Manager and within set parameters.
• Provide ongoing and regular visitations to tenants, drafting newsletters and bulletins, and distributing them as required.
• Develop and implement marketing support to tenants for in-store campaigns.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or relevant diploma/degree
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar field
