Location: Limpopo, South Africa

Hire Resolve’s Leading Mining Client are currently seeking a Section Engineer to join our team at a Mining Smelter Plant in Limpopo. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mining engineering and smelting operations, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities:
– Manage the day-to-day operations of a specific section within the mining smelter plant
– Ensure that production targets are met and that all equipment is operating efficiently
– Develop and implement maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
– Provide technical expertise and support to the production team
– Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
– Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
– Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians

Requirements:
– National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
– GCC Mines and Works
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mining smelter plant environment
– Strong technical knowledge of smelting processes and equipment
– Proven track record of managing a team and achieving production targets
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
– Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
