Luxury Game Lodge close to Pongola is looking for a Field Guide. We are looking for a Guide with strong communication skills , warm and friendly demeanour , and a commitment to conservation . The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to wildlife preservation efforts while providing guests with unforgettable safari experiences. Duties: Conducting guided safaris Ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of guests throughout their safari experience Hosting guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing informative and engaging insights Facilitating guest transfers to and from safari destination when required Creating compelling content for social media platforms All other basic duties on the reserve and in the lodge. Requirements: Grade 12 Minimum FGASA Level 1 (NQF Level 2) qualification At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position DEAT registration CATHSSETA registration First Aid Level 1 certification Rifle Competency for wildlife management and guest safety Valid Driver’s License with PDP (Professional Driving Permit) Own vehicle for personal transport Experience in wildlife photography is an added bonus.
