Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Administration:
- Open and manage job cards for workshop vehicles.
- Liaise with technicians and service advisors to track vehicle progress.
- Capture service and repair data accurately.
- Ensure proper filing and storage of documentation and service history.
Sales Administration:
- Assist the sales team with deal files and documentation.
- Process vehicle delivery documentation and coordinate licensing and registration.
- Maintain and update stock records and sales logs.
- Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Reception Duties:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers and visitors professionally.
- Manage switchboard and direct calls effectively.
- Handle general queries and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum of 2–3 years administrative experience within the automotive industry (essential).
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office; Kerridge or similar dealer management systems preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
