About the Role
We are seeking an Analytics Developer with expertise in Databricks, Power BI/Fabric, and ETL technologies to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on creating robust, scalable data pipelines, implementing actionable business intelligence frameworks, and delivering insightful dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage Databricks to develop and optimize scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing.
- Design and implement Databricks Notebooks for exploratory data analysis, ETL workflows, and machine learning models.
- Manage and optimize Databricks clusters for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Use Databricks SQL for query development, data aggregation, and transformation.
- Incorporate Python and/or Scala within Databricks workflows to automate and enhance data engineering processes.
- Develop solutions to integrate Databricks with other platforms, such as Azure Data Factory, for seamless data orchestration.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in analytics, data integration, and reporting.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks, including:
- Proficiency in Databricks Notebooks for development and testing.
- Advanced skills in Databricks SQL, Python, and/or Scala for data engineering.
- Expertise in cluster management, auto-scaling, and cost optimization.
- 4 years of expertise with Power BI, including:
- Advanced DAX for building measures and calculated fields.
- Proficiency in Power Query for data transformation.
- Deep understanding of Power BI architecture, workspaces, and row-level security.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, aggregations, and optimization.
- Experience with modern ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or Talend.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud platforms and their application to analytics solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
