About the Role
A well-established automotive company based in Kariega is seeking an experienced and qualified Automotive Quality Engineer to join their Quality Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring motor vehicle components perform consistently to specification throughout the life cycle of the component.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiating and managing the Qualifying Program for new part introduction
- Implementing continuous improvement by identifying the root cause for part deviations from specification and correcting the deviations in all phases of the life cycle of the part
- Testing and evaluating the performance of parts according to specification
- Providing the required Technical Expertise for complete parts in respect of material and function
- Initiating design improvements for complex problems on parts
Requirements
- National Diploma /Degree in Mechanical Engineering /Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in the manufacturing environment
