Job Summary
Requirements:
B-Tech or similar degree in Mechanical Engineering Proficiency in SolidWorks or a similar CAD package Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of automotive vehicles and their design Strong technical communication skills Experience with Syspro, composite components, and steel/sheet metal fabrication is advantageous Previous machining experience is also a plus Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Design of mechanical and automotive components Design and development of jigs and fixtures Creation of engineering drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials) Development of engineering process sheets and instructions Implementation of engineering change requests Ongoing product development, improvement, and cost-saving initiatives Providing technical support to customers and colleagues Project management and prototype development
