About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAIPA Accountant to join our team in Port Elizabeth, with a strong background in accounting and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, VAT returns, and tax returns
  • Provide expert advice on taxation and client accounting services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Xero, Sage, and SARS eFiling systems
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and provide ongoing support and guidance

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a SAIPA Accountant in the Accounting | Audit Industry
  • Completed SAIPA Articles
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Xero, Sage, and SARS eFiling
  • Strong knowledge of Annual Financial Statements, Management Accounts, VAT, Taxation, and Client Accounting Services

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
