Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Toolmaker / Machinist Trade. Experience working with manufacturing machines, including but not limited to CNC programming, milling, lathes, etc. Experience in the cutting tools industry and understanding of carbide cutting tools and applications. Proven sales record; selling carbide tooling products an advantage. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Identify new business opportunities. Provide tailored solutions to customers through building strong relationships and understanding customers needs. Service and grow existing customer base; including cold calling. Manage inter-branch stock transfers and administration in line with company processes. Full stock control function; customer stock maintenance and stock holding; maintain an orderly stockroom, categorize inventory effectively, and follow stock control processes. Manage and implement well-organized systems to improved inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets. Grow sales volume within existing customer base. Keep all necessary paperwork and records of relevant daily sales activities up to date. Identify opportunities and conduct tests, demonstrations and presentations to showcase product quality and benefits to customers. Work closely with the sales team, nationally, and other key departments. Attend individual and branch performance meetings with management to determine progress regarding agreed KPIs. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to capitalize on new opportunities.
