Job Description
Our Client a prominent brand in the Automotive Component Manufacturing Industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Financial Manager to their dynamic team based in Port Elizabeth.
This is a senior appointment with a structure remuneration commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
- CA(SA)
- Minimum 10 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years senior financial management experience.
- Other requirements include:
Multinational experience would be an advantage.
Experience in being accountable for group reporting packs.
Experience in managing a team.
Knowledge of tax and statutory returns.
High level of MS Excel proficiency.
Competencies:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong report writing skills.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and projections.
- Oversee financial operations across the company and its departments.
- Manage Finance and Admin team.
- Monitor and enforce compliance to procedures and internal controls in relation to financial transactions.
- Track operational performance daily.
- Analyse actual and forecast expenses.
- Provide support to the CFO with continuous improvement projects and ad hoc queries.
- Manage financial risk.
