Join a Team as a Metrology Technician – QA Vehicle Analysis Department Are you passionate about precision, quality, and automotive excellence? We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Technician to join a Vehicle Analysis team and play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicle components meet the highest standards. About the Opportunity: Execute precise dimensional measurements of vehicle components, ensuring strict adherence to drawing specifications. Conduct detailed analysis supporting part approval for both internal teams and external suppliers. Apply your expertise in dimensional analysis and problem-solving to resolve production challenges and enhance overall product quality. Oversee the dimensional approval process to guarantee the successful release of components at key Product Emergence Process (PEP) milestones. Provide guidance and support to external suppliers, ensuring correct application of Dimensional Metrology methods in line with ISO/VDA requirements. About You: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. At least 5 years of hands-on metrology measuring experience (Tactile or Optical). Proficient with measuring software such as PC-Dmis, GOM, and Polyworks for a minimum of 5 years. Experienced in offline and teach programming of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of CAD software (Catia preferred). Solid understanding of CMM maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and the interpretation of technical drawings. Skilled in designing and building measuring fixtures. Strong knowledge of the vehicle manufacturing process including Press Shop, Body Shop, Assembly, and Purchase Parts Manufacturing.
