Job Description
Our Client in the Hospitality Industry is seeking to employ a Reservationist to their team based in Addo Port Elizabeth.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality, front office or reservations.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a 4- or 5-star lodge, hotel or resort environment.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literate; experience with MS Office; familiarity with Xero, POS and reservation systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Knowledge of accommodation rates.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Handle reservations, cancellations and guest inquiries via phone and email.
- Manage restaurant bookings.
- Conduct efficient check-ins and check-outs.
- Provide guests with information about accommodation, facilities and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records and consistently deliver excellent guest service.
- Assist with administrative and front-office duties as needed.
- Welcome group guests arriving from safari drives.
- Assist in curio shop operations.
