Senior Restaurant Manager | Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape Salary: R20,000 – R24,000 (Negotiable, Depending on Experience) Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Restaurant Manager to join a well-established and fast-growing restaurant group based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape . Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations Manage and lead a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance monitoring Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene Handle staff scheduling, labour cost control, and general HR-related duties Assist with budgeting, cost control, stock management, and supplier relations Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety, and liquor licensing regulations ⚖ Handle customer complaints and ensure swift and professional resolution Drive marketing initiatives and contribute to promotions and events planning Ensure all operational procedures are followed and improved where necessary ✅ Requirements: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant environment Strong leadership and team management skills ‍‍ Excellent communication and customer service abilities Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including stock control and cost management Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively Proficient in point-of-sale systems and general computer literacy Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required This role is ideally suited to a motivated and hands-on professional ready to take on a leadership position within a dynamic and growing hospitality group .
