Responsibilities:
Cloud Database Migration: Develop and execute comprehensive migration plans for transitioning on-premises databases to cloud platforms, leveraging OCI, Azure, and AWS. Database Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based database solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure optimal system efficiency. Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline database administration tasks and improve efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert database guidance. Required Skills and Experience: Strong experience with Oracle database architecture, automation, and performance tuning. Expert knowledge of cloud architectures, with a focus on databases. Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including autonomous database on shared and dedicated infrastructure, provisioning, and supporting OCI resources. Familiarity with PostgreSQL in a cloud environment is a plus. ITIL process knowledge and work experience. At least 3 years of practical experience in Oracle database administration or development. Fluency in business English. Sound experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
