Our client, a millennial Accounting Firm in Pretoria East, is on the hunt for a detail-driven Accountant to join their vibrant team! If youre fluent in both English and Afrikaans, love a bit of adventure, and are ready to hit the road for extensive travel, this role could be your perfect fit! Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports and statements Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings Ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts Liase with external auditors and tax advisors as needed Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional SAIPA Certification and completed articles Proven experience in accounting, payroll, tax, income tax, SARS registration and process’ Proficiency in accounting software, Xero and Caseware compilation of financial statements Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards Excellent track record of customer service
