About the Role

MSP Staffing LTD is seeking an experienced Back-End Developer / .NET Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. As a technical leader, you will provide expertise in software application design, development, and maintenance. With a strong background in back-end software development, you will be responsible for leading projects and guiding teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems
  • Implement software architecture and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, SOLID)
  • Optimize database queries and ensure data consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical problems
  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and React
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members

Requirements

  • 57 years of back-end software development experience with progressively complex projects
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and React
  • Experience with software architecture, design patterns (MVC, MVVM, SOLID), algorithms, DDD, and data structures
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MySQL) and query optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
