About the Role
As a Bed Maker at Bluemark Blended, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests and residents experience a clean and comfortable sleeping environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Stripping and replacing bed linens, including sheets, pillowcases, and blankets
- Ensuring beds are made to the facility’s standard, including proper tucking and placement of linens
- Inspecting linens for stains, tears, or wear and replacing them as necessary
- Using proper sanitation techniques to ensure all linens and bedding are hygienic
- Reporting any damage to mattresses, bed frames, or linens to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintaining a clean and organized linen storage area
- Assisting with the general cleaning of rooms, including dusting and vacuuming as needed
- Collaborating with housekeeping staff to ensure timely room turnovers
- Following all safety and health regulations in accordance with facility policies
- Providing exceptional customer service to guests or residents when encountered
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and bending, on a regular basis
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
