About the Role

As a Bed Maker at Bluemark Blended, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests and residents experience a clean and comfortable sleeping environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Stripping and replacing bed linens, including sheets, pillowcases, and blankets
Ensuring beds are made to the facility’s standard, including proper tucking and placement of linens
Inspecting linens for stains, tears, or wear and replacing them as necessary
Using proper sanitation techniques to ensure all linens and bedding are hygienic
Reporting any damage to mattresses, bed frames, or linens to the appropriate supervisor
Maintaining a clean and organized linen storage area
Assisting with the general cleaning of rooms, including dusting and vacuuming as needed
Collaborating with housekeeping staff to ensure timely room turnovers
Following all safety and health regulations in accordance with facility policies
Providing exceptional customer service to guests or residents when encountered

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and bending, on a regular basis
