Hire Resolve`s Client is seeking to hire a Call Centre Sales Manager to join their team. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role is essential in managing both prospective and existing clients across South Africa. As a customer-focused and results-driven individual, you will be the first point of contact for new customer inquiries, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate channels. This position involves outbound calls (excluding cold calling).

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieving group targets within each measurement period
  • Managing and maintaining leads effectively to optimize conversions
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Motivating and leading the team to achieve set goals
  • Providing continuous feedback to senior management
  • Offering guidance and support to consultants
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and other departments
  • Leading by example as a role model for staff
  • Monitoring activity levels and staff productivity
  • Preparing and generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Managing performance-related issues, including disciplinary procedures
  • Identifying and implementing new initiatives to enhance sales and department operations
  • Actively participating in the recruitment process for new staff

Experience &

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills with a successful track record
  • Matric qualification
  • Experience in outbound sales (client follow-ups) and inbound inquiries & lead management
  • 5-8 years of call centre sales experience in the financial industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role
  • Strong understanding of competitor offerings
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Willingness to mentor and guide sales team members
  • Highly target-driven and deadline-oriented
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Computer literate with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • A team player who can build consensus within diverse groups
  • Resilient and thrives under pressure
