About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vehicle Sales Manager to lead our new vehicle sales department in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving monthly sales performance and profitability targets, as well as developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive monthly sales performance and profitability targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Monitor sales activities and ensure target achievement
- Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team
- Oversee vehicle stock management and showroom presentation
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity
- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts
Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Certificate
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite and dealership systems)
- Minimum 35 years experience in motor vehicle sales management
- Proven experience within a premium or luxury automotive brand environment
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and closing skills
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
