Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer/Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment, implementing safety policies, and promoting a culture of health and safety awareness throughout the organization.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with South African health and safety regulations (e.g., OHSA).Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Investigate incidents and accidents, and compile detailed reports with recommendations.Organize and conduct safety training and induction programs for employees.Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure company compliance with safety standards.Keep up to date with industry best practices and legislative changes.Qualifications & Experience:Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.Certification or registration with a recognized safety body (e.g., SACPCMP, SAMTRAC).8 to 10 years work experience Excellent communication and leadership skills.Proficiency in report writing and incident documentationHow to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their copies of ID , CV, Qualifications and Valid Registration Certificate with SACPCMP to *****@*****.co.za.
