Job Purpose:

• Responsible for managing/maintaining the Organisation`s Windows and Cloud infrastructure.

• Matric / Grade 12
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert + Experience
• Active Directory | Entra ID
• Experience with migrations on-prem to Azure
• MCSE, Azure or AWS Certification, SQL or Oracle Minimum of 5-8 years experience in Object Orientation.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Microsoft Office Suite: To effectively utilize knowledge of the various MS Office product ranges (MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word).
• Extensive Windows Active Directory and Azure/AWS Cloud knowledge
• Junior level Database skills (Oracle or SQL)

Role

• Develop and maintain cloud solutions by best practices for company initiatives.
• Ensure efficient functioning of solution and process functions by best practices.
• Identify, analyse, test, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application resource issues.
• Strategies, deployment, and troubleshooting of existing systems using the industry`s best-recommended tools
• Regularly review of existing systems and make recommendations for improved system throughput and security
• Microsoft Servers setup, configuration, patching, and hardening for recommended security benchmark
• Create automation in Active Directory using PowerShell scripting and general system maintenance.
• Support and manage Microsoft Office 365 environment, Azure AD/ Entra ID and licenses in general
• Backup solution and third-party system configuration to proactively prepare for DR situations
• On-premises and cloud-based SOC configuration, including system monitoring for agile system management
• Authentication and authorization of company resources using Active Directory and LDAP solutions
• Manage and maintain the organisation`s DNS and DHCP systems including integration with third-party applications.
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure that on-premises and cloud systems meet organisational needs.
• Build solution architecture and document system design from POC to execution phase for project work.
• Communicate with colleagues and management on systems health status, legacy migration, and anomalies.
• Review and Execute database queries.
