As a Credit Controller in the Cosmetics Retail industry, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts from customers. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts
• Review and assess customer credit profiles to determine creditworthiness and credit limits
• Proactively follow up with customers to resolve payment issues, disputes, and queries
• Collaborate with the sales team and internal stakeholders to address customer credit-related matters
• Prepare and analyze reports on credit control activities, aging debt, and key performance indicators
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and credit files
• Implement and enforce credit control policies and procedures
• Identify and escalate potential credit risks and recommend appropriate actions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably in the retail or cosmetics industry
• Strong knowledge of credit control practices, procedures, and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
