About the Role
Hire Resolve, a renowned recruitment firm, is currently partnering with a leading Cosmetics Retailer to find a skilled Credit Controller for their team. As a Credit Controller in the Cosmetics Retail industry, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts from customers. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts
- Review and assess customer credit profiles to determine creditworthiness and credit limits
- Proactively follow up with customers to resolve payment issues, disputes, and queries
- Collaborate with the sales team and internal stakeholders to address customer credit-related matters
- Prepare and analyze reports on credit control activities, aging debt, and key performance indicators
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and credit files
- Implement and enforce credit control policies and procedures
- Identify and escalate potential credit risks and recommend appropriate actions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably in the retail or cosmetics industry
- Strong knowledge of credit control practices, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred)
