Experience: Minimum of four years but six will be advantageous experience in the application of Artificial Intelligence models. Minimum three years experience in developing business intelligence (dashboards, operational reports) solutions. Minimum three years experience in ETL implementations. The following experience will be advantageous: Minimum three years experience in the IT software development environment Solid experience in the compilation of a Terms of Reference document Conduct research and options analysis to determine optimal ways of solution acquisition for business. Education: Bachelors degree in statistics, applied mathematics, data/computer science or related discipline, a postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. An industry certification in Data Science Skills: Data Wrangling proficiency in handling imperfections in data is an important aspect of a data scientist job description. Experience with Data Visualisation Tools like matplotlib, ggplot, d3.js., PowerBI that help to visually encode data Excellent Communication Skills ability to describe findings to a technical and non-technical audience.
