About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Board Secretary to join our team in Pretoria, South Africa. As part of our Board/Company secretariat role, you will provide administrative support to referred litigation cases and ensure the accurate and safekeeping of all discussion and resolution records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to referred litigation cases
  • Ensure timeous scheduling and coordination of all board meetings and related committees
  • Prepare minutes for all Board Committees
  • Assist in developing Committees annual workplans
  • Identify courses and seminars relevant to the Board Secretariat Units development

Requirements

  • Matric certificate and appropriate B-degree in Law, Commerce or Administration at NQF Level 7, as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in the Board/Company secretariat role in a public entity or registered company
  • Certification in Governance / Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa (CGISA), if applicable

Qualifications

  • Honours Degree in Law, Commerce, or Administration at NQF Level 8, as recognised by SAQA
  • Valid drivers licence
