My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team. This role is critical in managing and controlling the full accounts receivable function from accurate invoicing and timely collections to credit control and cash flow optimisation. As an Accounts Receivable Officer you will responsible for the following:

• Oversee the full end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment allocation, and reconciliations.
• Monitor debtors’ age analysis and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Implement and maintain credit control policies to mitigate financial risk.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and present AR and debtors’ reports to management to support decision-making.
• Collaborate across departments (finance, sales, operations) to align business processes.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

 
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Matric/Grade 12
Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or similar financial roles.
Proven experience in debtor processes, credit control, and reconciliations.
Xero experience would be beneficial
