Join our dynamic team at SydSen Recruit as a Barista in Pretoria East! We’re seeking an experienced and skilled individual to prepare and serve top-notch coffee drinks, manage our coffee station efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and specialty beverages to standard.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all beverages.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment correctly.
- Manage coffee station cleanliness, hygiene, and stock levels.
- Engage with customers professionally and provide product recommendations.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with stock control, ordering support, and daily checks at the coffee station.
- Support front-of-house operations during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista in a restaurant or café environment preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and espresso machines.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Reliable transport.
