About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Data Sciences to spearhead innovation—embedding AI/ML into scalable products and revolutionizing how insights are delivered across industries like telco, finance, retail, and philanthropy. Key Responsibilities
- Lead AI transformation: Develop predictive models, real-time pipelines, and ethical workflows.
- Build and structure agile teams of AI/ML specialists, data engineers, and insights strategists.
- Drive product integration with advanced analytics for benchmark authority and ROI.
- Recruit and upskill talent for future readiness in a lean, high-impact environment.
- Collaborate with executives on long-term strategies and report KPIs to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years in data science/analytics, with 5+ in market research or CX (Africa experience preferred).
- Proven leadership in AI/ML within growth-stage firms.
- Technical expertise in Python/R, ML frameworks, and cloud-based data pipelines.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate models into scalable products.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Masters/PhD ideal).
