About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Retail Manager to join our team in Pretoria East. As a key member of our store operations, you will support the Retail Manager in driving sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining company standards and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day store activities
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing
- Monitor opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Drive sales targets and achieve store KPIs
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve customer experience
- Assist with promotions, merchandising, and in-store marketing activities
- Oversee receiving and processing of stock
- Monitor stock levels and minimise shrinkage
- Conduct regular stock takes and inventory checks
- Ensure accurate stock control and reporting
- Support recruitment, training, and development of staff
- Supervise and motivate the sales team
- Assist with scheduling and staff rosters
- Address basic staff queries and performance issues
- Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- 23 years retail experience (supervisor)
