Job Summary
A boutique law firm based in Lynnwood Ridge, Pretoria East is looking for a Litigation Attorney with a dual role as practice manager.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general High Court and Magistrates Court litigation, with a minimum of 2 years post-admission experience.Key
Responsibilities:
– Manage and grow the litigation department;- Handle current litigation matters;- Assist with administrative tasks, including POPI and FICA compliance;- Assist senior attorneys with all responsibilities and workload;- Collaborate with senior attorneys and work under supervision when required;- Work independently and manage own caseload.
Requirements:
– 2+ years` post-admission experience in High Court and Magistrates Court litigation;- Must have exceptional knowledge of Caselines/Court online and the newest Practice Directives;- Experience in RAF matters advantageous;- Excellent writing and communication skills;- Punctual and able to meet deadlines;- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English;- Own transport essential;- Must be able to function in a high-pressure environment;- Excellent mental health.If you are a motivated and ambitious attorney looking to take the next step in your career, please submit your application, including your CV and cover letter.
