Are you a hands-on finance professional with a passion for property accounting? A well-established company with a fast-growing property portfolio is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all administrative and processing tasks related to debtors
• Process and report on the collection of tenant accounts
• Allocate unknown receipts to the correct tenant accounts
• Ensure invoices and statements are sent to tenants on time
• Respond to tenant queries via email and phone, performing reconciliations where required
• Review bank reconciliations and cashbooks, reporting on balances
• Update client details on finance systems (bank, VAT, registration numbers, etc.)
• Assist with month-end procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, and forecasts
• Support year-end audit requirements
• Reconcile intercompany and intergroup transactions
• Assist the Senior Property Accountant and Financial Manager with monthly billing and reporting
• Compile monthly VAT schedules and perform compliance analytics
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks to support the Finance Team

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Related financial qualification is beneficial
3 – 5 years’ experience in property finance
Practical knowledge of MDA/MRI Property Management Software (billing and accounting)
Strong MS Excel skills
