Job Description
Site Supervision & Coordination:
- Supervise daily electrical reticulation activities on site.
- Allocate tasks to electricians, cable jointers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades.
- Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
Electrical Reticulation Works:
- Oversee installation of MV/LV cables, conduits, ducts, trenches, and pits.
- Supervise cable pulling, jointing, terminations, and testing.
- Ensure correct installation of transformers, switchgear, kiosks, and substations.
- Monitor reinstatement works and final commissioning support.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce site safety rules and electrical safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and utility requirements.
- Report incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly.
Quality Control:
- Inspect workmanship and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
- Verify testing results and ensure proper documentation.
- Rectify defects and manage punch lists.
Planning & Reporting:
- Assist with work planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
- Maintain site records, daily reports, and material usage logs.
- Identify potential delays or issues and propose solutions.
Materials & Equipment:
- Manage tools, plant, and equipment on site.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure correct storage.
- Minimize waste and prevent damage or loss.
