About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Financial Accountant to join our finance team based in Pretoria East. As a BCom-qualified professional with approximately 5 years commercial accounting experience, you will be responsible for core accounting functions in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger integrity
  • Manage and reconcile stock and inventory-related accounts
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Assist with audits and respond to audit queries
  • Support operational finance and reporting within the business

Requirements

  • BCom degree (essential)
  • Minimum of 5 years commercial accounting experience (essential)
  • Strong stock and inventory accounting experience (essential)
  • Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, or services environments is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
