About the Role

We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Accountant to join our team in Pretoria East. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a services or healthcare setting, with a passion for end-to-end accounting, strong processes, and working closely with operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger control
  • VAT calculations and submissions
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Supporting audits and statutory compliance
  • Reporting to management and ad hoc finance support

Requirements

  • Education: BCom Accounting
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years commercial accounting experience
  • Experience within the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Services industries preferred
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills
  • Experience working on accounting systems / ERP environments

  • Full accounting function up to trial balance
