About the Role
A respected healthcare-focused organisation in Pretoria East is seeking a seasoned Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will be confident, mature, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of financial accuracy and commercial focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accounting function up to trial balance
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Month-end processing, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
- Cash flow management and monitoring
- Support with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors where required
Requirements
- BCom in Accounting or relevant qualification
- Minimum 5 years commercial experience
- Industry exposure within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or services preferred
