About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Financial Accountant to join our finance team based in Pretoria East. As a BCom-qualified professional with approximately 5 years commercial accounting experience, you will be responsible for core accounting functions in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger integrity
- Manage and reconcile stock and inventory-related accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Assist with audits and respond to audit queries
- Support operational finance and reporting within the business
Requirements
- BCom degree (essential)
- Minimum of 5 years commercial accounting experience (essential)
- Strong stock and inventory accounting experience (essential)
- Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, or services environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
