About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Full accounting function up to trial balance
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • VAT, statutory submissions and compliance
  • Managing and overseeing the bookkeeper, debtors and creditors clerks
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger control
  • Financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes

Requirements

  • Education: BCom Accounting (minimum requirement)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years commercial accounting experience
  • Proven experience managing a bookkeeper, debtors and creditors function
  • Strong general ledger and reporting experience

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our stable and performance-driven property finance team in Pretoria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of our monthly management accounts and financial reports.
