Hatfield, Pretoria: IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Minimum Requirements (Not Negotiable):
-Presentable and reliable individual with hands-on approach
-Full bilingual with good English proficiency (Afrikaans proficiency preferred/advantageous)
-Matric / Grade 12 a must
-A+ and N+ Diplomas/Qualifications a must
-2 to 3 years recent work experience in providing technical IT support in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment a must
-Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and software, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
-Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
-Own reliable transport to work a must (Own vehicle)
-Stable employment record (no job hoppers) and contactable employment references
-No lawful termination at any previous employer due to misconduct or non-performance
-Residing in Pretoria (within daily commuting distance)
-To start as soon as possible
Work Hours:
-Mondays to Fridays from 08h00am – 17h00pm
Duties:
-Provide remote and on-site technical IT support to personnel of Bookstore franchise
-Resolving technical issues both remotely and on-site
-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
-Install and configure software and hardware, including servers, workstations and printers
-Maintain and update computer systems and networks.
-Monitor system performance and ensure that it is running efficiently.
-Assist with management of backups and disaster recovery systems.
-Manage digital platform updates, ensuring timely and accurate content publication.
Salary: R 15 000.00 – R 20 000.00 gross maximum (Depending on relevant experience)
