RESPONSIBILITIES – Promote company details across physical, electronic, and other platforms. – Source, secure, and build a client base for sustainable business opportunities. – Deliver excellent service and products to impress and retain customers. – Provide market-related feedback to management on pricing, lead times, and client satisfaction. – Build strong relationships with recurring customers to secure bulk monthly orders. – Provide product advice telephonically or in person. – Follow up on leads and ensure service delivery standards are met. – Request and showcase product samples to potential clients. – Capture, manage, and update client data on Pastel/Fusion. – Manage client correspondence. – Prepare and follow up on quotations. – Request and formulate transport quotes. – Initiate targeted sales campaigns (e.g., painters, mines, architects, schools). – Launch promotional offerings to drive sales. – Generate referrals from clients and suppliers. – Track upcoming projects for potential business. – Forecast sales and develop creative strategies. – Analyse reports to identify improvement opportunities. – Attend training and handle general queries. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. – Excellent communication and telephone skills. – Self-driven with a strong sales mindset. – Good people skills and professional presentation. – Ability to work in a team and independently. – 2-5 years sales experience (scaffolding knowledge advantageous). – Ability to work under pressure. – Strong attention to detail and accuracy. – Valid Code 08 Drivers License with reliable own transport. – Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, Pastel, and other relevant programs.
