Job Summary
Together with our client, a leading claims administrator in Pretoria East, we are recruiting for a Sales Representative to join their sales team. The ideal candidate needs to have minimum 2 years medical sales experience and must have matric/grade 12.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the conceptualisation, setup and implementation of new business ventures;
- Take ownership of all tender procedures including the compilation of a tender bid submission;
- Participate in pricing new products and/or services;
- Work with external consultants to setup all new product/service materials including brochures, contracts, etc.
- Ensure that all new business products and/or services as well as relevant procedure manuals are well documented and communicated;
- Train and develop staff members for new products and/or services, with the aim of continued improvement and optimisation of resources;
- Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients;
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation;
- Research and build relationships with new clients;
- Continuous improvement of relationships with existing clients;
- Market and industry research;
- Weekly feedback reporting to management;
- Ad hoc tasks in line with the companys objectives as and when required.
- Other duties that may arise from time to time as directed by the Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification will be beneficial.
- Experience at a medical bureau will be an advantage.
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer literate in MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and Outlook)
- Articulate with strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Cope well under pressure.
Remuneration
Market related – depending on experience
