About the Role
Expat Rescue Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to join our team in Pretoria North. We are looking for a culinary expert who can lead our kitchen operations, create innovative menus, and deliver exceptional food and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and staff
- Create and implement new recipes and menus
- Build and cost recipes for profitability
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure high standards of food quality and safety
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen
- Proven track record of staff management and leadership
- Expertise in recipe creation, recipe building, and costing
- Experience with a POS system (Pilot preferred)
- Passion for delivering exceptional food and service
