About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our retail pharmacy operations in Pretoria. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy management, with 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a managerial role. They will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and pharmaceutical care aspects of our pharmacy, as well as managing finances, budgets, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage the retail pharmacy
  • Manage operational processes to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including procurement and stock management
  • Ensure compliance with GPP, clinical best practices, and relevant legislation
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting excellent communication, interpersonal, and financial skills

Requirements

  • BPharm Degree or equivalent SAPC registration
  • 10 years of pharmacy experience, with 5 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in hospital and retail pharmacy is advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and clinical best practices
  • Strong proficiency in pharmacy and stock management systems
  • Solid financial management and budgeting skills

Qualifications

  • Completed BPharm Degree or equivalent SAPC registration
