About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our retail pharmacy operations in Pretoria. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy management, with 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a managerial role. They will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and pharmaceutical care aspects of our pharmacy, as well as managing finances, budgets, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the retail pharmacy
- Manage operational processes to ensure high-quality patient care
- Monitor and control inventory levels, including procurement and stock management
- Ensure compliance with GPP, clinical best practices, and relevant legislation
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting excellent communication, interpersonal, and financial skills
Requirements
- BPharm Degree or equivalent SAPC registration
- 10 years of pharmacy experience, with 5 years in a managerial role
- Experience in hospital and retail pharmacy is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and clinical best practices
- Strong proficiency in pharmacy and stock management systems
- Solid financial management and budgeting skills
Qualifications
- Completed BPharm Degree or equivalent SAPC registration
