About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Regional HR Manager to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our Human Resources function, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Main Agreements, and driving business outcomes through effective HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll and time attendance systems
- Develop and implement HR communication strategies
- Lead recruitment and selection processes
- Ensure employment equity and staff training initiatives are implemented
- Manage the HR budget and develop short and medium term plans for HR functionality
- Administer leave processing, bonuses, promotions, internal transfers, and performance management
Requirements
- 7 years of relevant HR experience in a Unionized environment
- 5 years of managerial experience
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and Main Agreements
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Payroll and Time and Attendance systems, Recruitment and Selection, Employment Equity and staff training
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management (Additional Legal and/or Financial qualification – added advantage)
- Post degree qualification (added advantage)
