Role Purpose The Regional Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing all operational, commercial, and administrative functions of the Technology Division within their assigned region. This role ensures the successful delivery of projects and SLAs , maintains client satisfaction through regular engagement and retention initiatives , and drives both operational performance and business growth . The Regional Branch Manager acts as the face of Bidvest Protea Coin within the region, ensuring that national strategy is executed locally while upholding company standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism. Regional Leadership & Strategy Execution Lead all regional activities in alignment with the strategic direction set by the Managing Executive Technology. Implement national operational standards, quality frameworks, and reporting systems within the region. Develop regional business and operational plans to achieve financial, client, and service delivery objectives. Serve as the primary liaison between head office and the regional teams, ensuring alignment and accountability. Drive a culture of operational excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Operations & Service Delivery Oversee all projects, maintenance, and SLA service delivery in the region. Ensure service performance, preventative maintenance, and turnaround times meet or exceed SLA commitments. Coordinate closely with the National Service Manager , National Project Manager , and QA/HSE Managers to ensure delivery excellence and compliance. Monitor resource utilisation, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency across the regional portfolio. Ensure all activities comply with company policies, health and safety standards, and client requirements. Business Development, Client Retention & Relationship Management Take full ownership of client retention and relationship management within the region. Conduct regular client engagement meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and identify improvement opportunities. Work with the National Service Manager to manage SLA renewals, negotiate rate reviews, and identify upselling opportunities. Maintain a structured client engagement calendar for key accounts and ensure consistent follow-up on deliverables. Collaborate with the Strategic Accounts Manager and Sales Division to identify regional growth opportunities. Ensure that client feedback and satisfaction levels are measured, tracked, and acted upon. Act as the final escalation point for client concerns in the region, ensuring prompt resolution and communication. Financial & Commercial Management Manage the regional profit and loss (P&L) statement, ensuring profitability targets are achieved. Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control for projects and service operations. Monitor invoicing accuracy, collections, and overall financial performance in collaboration with the Finance Division. Identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements without compromising service quality. People Leadership & Development Lead, develop, and mentor all regional employees, ensuring capability growth and strong team performance. Identify training needs and coordinate with the Gjma Training Centre for technical and soft-skill development. Conduct regular performance reviews, providing clear direction, recognition, and accountability. Foster a positive work culture based on teamwork, ownership, and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with HR and company disciplinary policies. Governance, Quality & Safety Ensure all regional operations comply with Bidvest Protea Coins HSE , QA , and ISO-aligned Support national compliance audits and corrective actions. Promote a zero-harm culture by ensuring staff receive safety inductions and follow approved work procedures. Work closely with QA and HSE Managers to address findings, track improvements, and maintain compliance documentation. Reporting & Performance Management Provide weekly and monthly operational and financial reports to the Managing Executive Technology. Track and review KPIs including revenue, profitability, client satisfaction, SLA compliance, and staff productivity. Participate in national management meetings and contribute to divisional strategy and reviews. Analyse performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and required interventions. Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: PSIRA certification Grade A; Grade 12 or equivalent qualification; Security related or similar relevant qualification; Relevant experience in a similar management position; Good interpersonal skills and strong administration skills; A good working knowledge of MS Office (word, excel and outlook); Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to regular change; Good understanding of BCEA, OHS Act, LRA and Sectoral Determination; Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record; Drivers license and own transport; Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: Minimum 13 years experience and knowledge in a relevant management position; Mining related qualification;
