Job Summary
Introduction An international automotive OEM is looking for Robotic Technicians to be based in Pretoria. Their purpose is to ensure Equipment Availability is at 98% , analyse Top Constraints and solve issues using 6-SIGMA Methodology and optimise Facility to ensure volume targets and improve Mean-Time-Between-Failures. Duties & Responsibilities ? To maintain the facility by completing all scheduled /planned Maintenance 100% completion ? To identify all corrective maintenance activities and have a proactive approach 100% completion ? Manage/ effective approach to Emergency Maintenance downtime ? Effective Root Cause Analysis toward downtime ? Responsible approach to all Safety Standard Regulations ? Total Maintenance of all TCF( Trim, Chassis, and Final Line) equipment, fault finding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controlled circuits, and the modifications thereof ? Focus on constraint areas to eliminate the constraint ? Ensure Production uptime within departmental objectives. ? Ensure safety compliance at all times ? PM, CM scrubbing ? 4D reporting on MFM ? Assist Artisans with problem-solving and repairs of problematic equipment in their related field ? Modifications to PLC software circuits, Siemens PLCs are used in the TCF department ? Assist Project work related to new equipment introduction/ commissioning Desired Experience & Qualification ? N6 Plus Electrical / Mechanical / Milwright Trade Certificate and or Equivalent (Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial and Mechanical) National diploma ? 5 yrs. maintenance experience in a Manufacturing or automotive production sector ? Programming and Fault Finding experience in Siemens PLCs, SEW Drives, and ABB / Kawasaki Robots. ? TIA Pro 1 / Pro 2 Certificates ? Fault-finding ability ? Working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Excel competency ? Siemens PLC fault finding and programming skills. ? ABB / Kawasaki Robot fault finding and programming skills. ? HMI fault finding and programming skills. ? SEW Frequency Drive fault finding and programming skills. ? Fault finding skill and knowledge on filling machines (Optional) ? Sealer application and fault-finding thereof ? Behavioral Skill ? English Oral and written communication Package & Remuneration R336 per hour excluding car allowance, medical aid, provident fund, shift allowances
