About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented School Management Admin Intern to provide administrative support to our school management team, ensuring efficient daily operations of learner records, communication, and office coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain learner registration files and update records
- Capture attendance for learners and staff
- Assist with admission and enrolment processes
- Prepare letters, forms, and school communication to parents
- Manage filing systems (physical and digital)
- Support timetable coordination and classroom allocations
- Assist in organising meetings, events, and school programmes
- Handle reception duties (answering calls, welcoming visitors)
- Maintain inventory records for school resources
- Assist with reporting to the Department of Education where required
Requirements
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before
- Matric
- Qualification in Public Management / Office Administration / Education Support
- Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, Email)
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work with learners, parents, and staff professionally
