Job Summary
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a talented Test Engineer to join our innovative and dynamic team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of our vehicles through comprehensive testing processes. Requirements:
Bachelor“s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Certifications in relevant testing frameworks or cloud technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Microsoft Azure) Experience with test automation frameworks and tools Familiarity with performance testing and load testing tools Proficient in writing system and load tests Experience with development languages such as python/C#/Java Knowledge of microservices architecture and design Familiarity with message queuing systems, such as RabbitMQ Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive test plans, including system tests, and load tests Automate testing processes to ensure efficient and reliable testing Carry out black box testing on existing components Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues early in the software development lifecycle Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing processes and frameworks Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall quality and stability of the software Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies Reference Number for this position is GZ60172 which is a contract position based in Midrand / Centurion/Semi-Remote offering a contract rate of R650 per hour
