About the Role
Talent Evolution Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team in Pretoria East. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by designing, selling, and managing bespoke travel itineraries. You will build strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals, while delivering expert travel advice and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Deliver professional, efficient, and personalised service to all customers.
- Handle client queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Design and sell customised travel itineraries tailored to individual client preferences, budgets, and needs.
- Book all travel components including flights, accommodation, transfers, and related services.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, visa requirements, and travel insurance options.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business profitability.
- Maximise sales opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting preferred suppliers and partners.
Requirements
- Proficiency in reservation systems such as Amadeus is advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Previous experience in a travel consulting or customer-facing sales role is advantageous.
- Experience within the leisure, wholesale, or tourism sector is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail.
- Sales-driven with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reservation systems such as Amadeus
