Key Responsibilities: Conduct process studies and develop design modifications to optimize operations. Develop, review, and validate plant mass balances to ensure peak performance. Identify optimization opportunities and implement solutions accordingly. Utilize HYSYS and Promax for process simulation and modeling. Provide technical direction and support to both in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom design contractors. Formulate and implement long-term strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Apply expertise in metering systems and process safety-related activities such as HAZOP and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (API, ISO, ASME, etc.). Interpret and implement relevant engineering codes and standards. Oversee construction progress, ensure compliance with engineering requirements, and recommend design changes as needed. Lead groups of engineers during shutdown and start-up phases of existing plants. Support other engineering disciplines in problem-solving and process development. Participate in the development of engineering, material, and equipment specifications. What Were Looking For: Education: Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering (Advanced degrees preferred). Experience: 10-15 years in refining, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of API, ISO, ASME industry standards. Experience in process simulation, metering systems, and process safety. Proficiency in HYSYS and Promax. Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
